KSON KTE1100102TR Reflecting telescope
The KSON KTE1100102TR optical tube assembly comes with a focal length of 1100mm. The main mirror has a diameter of 102mm and is housed in a robust mirror cell that is equipped with push - pull collimation screws.
This KSON KTE1100102TR is installed on an altitude - azimuth TRACKER mount. The Tracker mount allows for simultaneous slow - motion adjustments in both altitude and azimuth. This enables accurate manual tracking in both the vertical and horizontal directions. It stands on top of a KSON metal tripod that is sturdy, fully adjustable, and pre - assembled. The tripod has retractable rubber feet and an accessory tray with slots designed to hold 4 pieces of 1.25” eyepieces or lenses.
The telescope is fitted with a KSON red - dot finder. This finder is very useful as it allows the observer to stay behind the telescope while aiming at objects without losing sight of the surrounding area.
It comes with two eyepieces: a 1.25” F20mm and an F6mm, along with a 3x Barlow. It's advisable to start your observation with the long - focal - length eyepiece. This eyepiece provides a larger and brighter field of view, making it ideal for locating celestial bodies. The other eyepiece offers high magnification for in - depth study of astronomical objects.
The 1100mm primary mirror can collect up to 110 times more light compared to the human eye. It can reveal a wide range of objects in the Solar System and beyond, such as lunar craters and seas, the phases of Venus, Jupiter's planetary disk and four of its moons, Saturn's rings, Titan, binary stars, star clusters, and even bright nebulae and galaxies.
